The Chapel Hill UMC Choir is a group of committed, fun-loving worship leaders who make beautiful music each Sunday for the 8:30 and 11 a.m. worship services. Advent / Christmas and Lent / Easter are special highlights in the singing year. The choir experience includes the learning of the great hymns and anthems of the Church, skills in singing and music-reading, learning about the worship of the church, fellowship activities, and service. The choir welcomes new members, whether experienced or beginning. There are no auditions for membership, and the only qualification is a true desire to be of service to God and the Church. Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 6:00 in the sanctuary. Childcare is provided. All are welcome.
The Chapel Hill Praise Band. This group provide contemporary music for our Thursday night Recovery Services and peridically during the year for our Sunday services.
For further information about participating in our music program contact our Music Director, George Capps.

Rewards in heaven? Sounds like a good enough reason to sing in a church choir. Read the rest of the article.....
